How To Use This Wiki

Please Register, I don't know if anonymous postings can override pages last written to by registered users.
Once again, please click UserSettings to register, it is painless.

To add a new page, simply edit (by double-clicking on) an existing page and adding a 'Wiki' term to it, then 'Store'ing it.

A 'Wiki' term is 2 or more words strung together without a space and where the first letter of each word is capitalized, i.e. MyNewPage or TechnicalInstructions. When you save a term like this on a page, the Wiki will add a ? (question mark) to the end of the term when you view it in display mode. If you click on this question mark you can cause a new page to be created. You can edit any page, just double-click on the content or click the Edit this page link at the bottom of any page.

Question: How do you unwikiname a word ?
Answer: Add two pair of double-quotes around the word.

Question: How do you get a pair of double-quotes (without any text between them) to display properly ?
Answer: Use the entity literal &quot;.

Question: How does WakkaWiki know to what URL to send a visitor to if it wasn't specified ?
Answer: The link is to a forced WikiPage. That means a link to a page in this wiki is generated.

Question: So why does [[LALA_LELE]] send me to http://LALA_LELE ?
Answer: The underscore breaks things. [[LALALELE]] doesn't have this problem, and results in this: LALALELE

Question: Can you delete comments on a page?
Answer: You can now hide any comment you wish, as long as you are logged in (I think). Anyway, the comment won't go away and you can use the ShowHiddenComments link to ... well... show hidden comments, doing so will give you the opportunity to UnHide them. I think this follows in wiki tradition by not ever getting rid of anything ;-)
